Composite Films has colorized and restored archive footage since 2013, for Netflix, Apple TV, HBO, Pathé, the BBC, FranceTV, Smithsonian Channel and 50+ producers and broadcasters. Around a hundred films colorized, grounded in rigorous historical research and tools developed in-house.

Production, restoration and colorization: Composite Films On 19 December 1958, Maria Callas made her debut at the Paris Opera. Restored in 4K and colorized from the original 16 mm reels for the singer's centenary, the concert returned to cinemas in more than 30 countries. A worldwide re-release is planned for 2027, the 50th anniversary of her death.
